Neve Cosmetics Brow Model Review & Swatches

EYEBROW TIME! Neve Cosmetics brought out a new product for us - it's a brow gel! Scroll down to find out more about it.

INFO:
The full and impeccable eyebrows you’ve always dreamed of, in the blink of an eye. Lack of time is no excuse with Brow Model: here’s the first multi-tasking brow product to groom, color, fill in and define your arches.
Brow Model by Neve Cosmetics is vegan and petrolatum, paraben and silicone free. Its exclusive formula contains:
- natural waxes to condition and protect the hairs whilst holding them in place.
- natural pigments to color the hairs and fill in the sparse areas, for a natural and fuller look.
Apply Brow Model by holding the wand parallel to the skin and comb through the eyebrows with light strokes in the direction of the hair growth. Apply with an angled brush if you are looking for a more graphic result. Brow Model lasts all day, but can be easily removed with your regular face cleanser. Brow Model is available in four colors.
PROMO:
Brow Model is on sale now and shipping charges are on offer from 1,99 euro only! Till February 1st.

THE PACKAGING:
It's lovely. Neve sure did tease us enough with the sneek peaks on their Instagram and Facebook page, and now we can finally see it. If you know me, you know that for anything pastel - SIGN ME UP! The product's lid is a mint green colour with gold floreal designs all over it. You get a total of 3 ml of gel in each Brow Model container.

The applicator is a really tiny mascara wand, it picks up enough product to define the eyebrows of someone who just wants to cover up a few less hairy patches - but it can also work for thinner brows, in order to give more colour to them and give a base for shaping them.

INGREDIENTS:
Aqua (Water), Cera Carnauba [Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax], Candelilla Cera [Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax], Stearic Acid, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Glycerin, Panthenol, Pullulan, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Phytate, Sorbitol, Trehalose, Xanthan Gum, Acacia Senegal Gum, Aminomethyl Propanediol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Tropolone. (+/-) May Contain: CI77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491 (Iron Oxides), CI 77492 (Iron Oxides), CI 77499 (Iron Oxides).
WHAT I THINK:
Let's get to business, ladies. I previously mentioned I never actually used a brow gel before, as my brow product to-go is Nabla's Brow Divine in the shade "Uranus". It's not that easy to find the right match for my brows that would satisfy me: not too dark, not too light, and definitely more cool toned than most dark browns. Plus, the more resistance I get from the product whilst applying it, the easier it is for me to control the amount that ends up on my face. It took so long to master the skill of "defining your brows without them looking like two huge caterpillars", that any foreign brow product made me suspicious. I didn't really see the point of brow gels. What are they for? Why would I want my already quite dark brows to be tinted? Plus, what about the glue like consistence? Just no.

But I changed my mind indeed. And I'm not saying it to please anybody, because if I liked something it means I'll integrate it to my makeup routine, and this is what happened with the Brow Model. The formula is kinda inbetween liquid and thick/waxy. If you're careful enough not to over-layer I would say it doesn't give the brows that glued-together effect I don't like. It oxidizes a little after application so I suggest swatching and waiting a few minutes before deciding which one to go for.
There are 4 shades available which will be swatched for you down below, from left to right we have: Oslo Blonge, London Ash, Roma Brown, Lisboa Black.

OSLO BLONDENeutral/warm pale blond.
Perfect for all the natural blondes, the ginger-haired and... the fake blondes who want the color of their brows to match that of their hair with no need to bleach them.
LONDON ASHNeutral/cool natural ash blond.
For the ash blond-haired, and all types of blond / light brown-haired with cool undertones.
ROMA BROWNNeutral/warm deep brown.
Ideal for brunettes of all sorts, with chestnut, mahogany or auburn brown hair.
LISBOA BLACKNeutral/cool dark brown.
Best suited for the black and dark brown-haired, for the dark complexions, and in general for those who like their brow game strong & bold!

How I apply it: I usually clean a little product off the applicator when I first apply it, and I cover all the sparse areas of the brows that I'm not happy with so it looks overall even. Then, because I love my brows strong and defined, I add a little more body to them, focusing on the middle/end part of the brow. If I want the lines to look a little cleaner, I correct them with my brow pencil and then I brush the inner part of the eyebrow with whatever's left on the spoolie. When it's blended to perfection, I proceed with concealer to fix any mess I did and make the brow look sharp for the gods!

My shade is Lisboa Black, and I think the range, although limited, still finds a way to adapt itself to any hair colour. Once on, your brows stay put all day long, but the product is still very easy to take off. Just make sure you use an oil-based cleanser instead of wipes, as they can result harsh on the hairs and you may end up shedding some.
