Hello everybody! On this fine Wednesday I present you a haul, and a little review from my humble self, after using these products for a little while. The brand I'm talking about is Born Pretty, and the generous people who contacted me and sent me all this are the staff from the Neejolie.fr website ❤
The Neejolie website reached out to me so I could try a few of their products for a budget of 10 dollars in total, and I chose 3 types of lashes (2 pairs and one pack of 10 to be precise) and a silicon sponge with a star pattern all over it.
SILICON SPONGE:
Let's start with this then. I was so curious to try this, as I'm sure loads of other bloggers were, because I've seen the original one and many many dupes everywhere around the Internet. Opinions vary, some love it, some hate it, and others are in a sort of grey area.
Now, I can't say how this sponge differs from the actual, original Silisponge (it's still silicon isn't it, how much can it change?), but I can give my honest opinion on this one.
Not for me. It can be because I am absolutely horrendous at applying foundation by using THIS instead of a beauty blender - maybe - but I suggest you to try it yourself to form an opinion anyway.
Personally, I saw that yes, it is absolutely impossible for the sponge to absorb the makeup, which is the point of it (and what makes it so innovative), BUT the effect it gives comes off as very cakey looking.
I don't like to spend more than 5 minutes blending my foundation, so this may not be the most appropriate choice for me or someone like me, which is a shame because it could be a thing ya know?
How easy it is to clean is what drew me to it, and the little stars are adorable, but I guess I'll be waiting for the day they'll invent something that could work better for me.
PAIR NO. 1:
So, this pair of criss-cross lashes has surprised me more than the others. As in I expected them to look good, but not THIS GOOD. For the price of them, these lashes are really great for creating make-up looks, quite long and fluttery, they look natural and easily blend with my own lashes.
They came in the right length, there's really no need to cut them any shorter, but I'm peculiar when it comes to lashes - the part of the band going towards the inner corner always feels a bit annoying - so I guess after cutting just a mm it will work just fine.
One thing: the band is quite big, compared to other pairs of lashes I own, so careful with how much glue you put on it: I always go overboard with it and when it came to take them off it definitely felt intense on my little eye! haha

PAIR NO. 2:
I got these purely for everyday use, it was such a bargain - I had to. I must admit these are a little bit trickier when it comes to align them with my lash line (the band is less round if you know what I mean?), but it's cool. Nothing eyeliner can't solve for sure. Apart from that, what can I say, really light, natural looking lashes. Nothing weighing on your eye like the other two (yeah they do a bit, so if you're not used to it THESE are the ones for you!)
↓↓↓ See? they're goin' be good with some Nyx Epic Ink Liner *wink wink* , and quite comfortable too! I definitely recommend them to anyone who's just started using falsies.

PAIR NO. 3:
NOW. I saved the best for last. LOOK AT THEM. Well I actually mean scroll down a little and look at the picture I took, but you know the drill haha!
They looked gorgeous on the website, and now I can definitely confirm they're gorgeous in real life too. These sultry, fluttery lashes are literally what I was trying to go for. But instead of spending 15-20 pounds on a pair of House of Lashes or Huda Beauty, I got the chance to try these babies on and BOOM. In love.
They are great quality, and they look it, you wouldn't believe they cost so little.
I think they're my favourite because I'm a fan of the winged-out effect. It suits my eye shape best.
Price: 4,94 euros →LINK←

And now that we've come to the end of this review, I say thank you for sticking around babes!
Much love xx
