I appreciated this collection quite a lot. We definitely needed something a little more daring in the bio/vegan/cruelty free world (Just in time for Coachella and the Festival season!). I saw several comments online complaining about the poor choice of products "outside the box" from Neve Cosmetics and other similar italian brands, and yet again I'm glad their team took our preferences into consideration.
I found most of the pressed powders very rich in colour, both textures are in my opinion. Of course you'd have to be careful on how to apply them, and watch for any fallout from the pressed pigments, but if you find the right way to use them you'll be astonished by their performance.
Neve suggests to apply the Crystallize glitters wet, and that is true, but I would also try applying glitter primer underneath and you'll find it makes a lot less of a mess. The Creamgleam texture is my favourite because it doesn't need any effort, it shows all the pigment well in dry form, wet form, it's buttery and pleasant to work with.
VERNISSAGES:
Sky with Diamonds
Transparent purple with duochrome glitter shifting from fuchsia-coral to periwinkle blue. For stellar kisses! (my favourite of the two, personally, but just because I'm into cold toned shades).
Life on Mars
Transparent copper with duochrome glitter that turns from golden yellow to dark fuchsia. The crystals of a red planet melting on the lips…
These strawberry perfumed vernissages are the most summery glosses you could ever think of. They come out with a new texture called "Psychedelicious", which is slightly stickier and is less intense colour, compared to previous Vernissages. They perform best if applied on top of another lippie/liner, but if you think that's gonna be too much, I'd say they will look very pretty on their own as well. The effect is wet-like, almost metallic, and it would give a fresh touch to your summery makeup. The only downside is that as well as being less intense, it's also less lasting. So always take it with you for a touchup!
